I believe that if you are not learning new things, you stop growing, and I have a thirst for learning and growing. I buy more books than I can finish, and I try to master every hobby I take on. I’m equally passionate about empowering others to achieve success in business and in life, and give them the knowledge they need to thrive. I’ve learned many lessons throughout my career of starting and building businesses, and I want to share the wisdom with anyone who is interested.

I started my first business at 12 years old DJ-ing at parties. As I got older I started producing my own music and selling my albums when I performed. After attending Indiana University–Purdue University Indianapolis, I graduated from Full Sail University, then founded a music production company, SoClear Productions, and became a principle in Morgans Media Group, an entertainment company.

As a way to raise more capital for my production businesses, I accepted a sales position with a leisure sales and marketing company. It was a natural fit for my progression in business, building relationships, selling, and closing deals. I also learned that it takes perseverance to build a successful business. I worked very hard around the clock because I wanted more out of life.

In 2005, while still working full time and running my own companies, I founded what would become Alliance View, LLC. It started as a lifestyle company that organized healthy lifestyle programs for employers. Because frequent travel is linked to better health, I offered discounted travel benefits as rewards for employees who participated.

Always striving for excellence, I invested heavily in a state-of-the-art travel benefits platform that could be customized for each client. This first venture into building a piece of technology was unlike anything I had worked on before. Through this experience, I learned a multitude about the different ways to create technology, how to manage technical staff, and what pitfalls to watch out for. I also developed an appreciation for scalability and building platforms instead of products. My technological endeavors evolved into a closed user group platform with many other possible applications.

In 2014, Alliance View, LLC merged its assets with Tourist Bureau Marketing Inc., DBA Alliance Reservations Network, and officially merged in 2016. With the help of a newly reformed team I quickly doubled and then tripled company gross revenues to over $300 million, and became a co-owner of Alliance Reservations Network, additionally serving as its president today.

In August 2019 Alliance Reservations Network was acquired by RCI, which is owned by publicly traded Wyndham Destinations (NYSE:WYND) for $92 million. I was asked to stay on as its president to continue to lead the company in its successful trajectory. RCI appreciates the entrepreneurial spirit of the company and wants to preserve it. I’m excited to leverage the resources of a publicly-traded company to take Alliance to the next level.

Using what I’ve learned from my successes and failures, I continue to foster my business efforts on multiple planes, including mentoring young entrepreneurs.  It may sound cliché, but if the elevator to success is broken, you need to take the stairs to have lasting success.
